So what's the story? What is this place?

Craft Fetish was born out of frustration - after being rejected by online auction sites due to making items "to order", having quality hand-crafted goods being lost amongst the Made In China items which fill these sites, low turnouts at craft markets and the inability to receive high traffic through independent websites!

We are providing a portal for people wishing to trade in hand-crafted goods, which are handmade with love in Aotearoa by highly talented Kiwis.

This is YOUR site, and we would love you to help us develop it into what YOU want it to be. If you have any suggestions or questions, please post them on the forum!

How do I sell on Craft Fetish?

Once you have registered for an account, click on the "Interested in Selling?" link on the links bar at the top of the page. Fill in the form, hit submit, and once we have verified your account, and you have increased your credit balance you can start selling.

How much will it cost me to sell on Craft Fetish?

We take a small commission of 5% on all sales, plus a small one off set fee of 25c per listing to cover our hosting and administration overheads.

How does the selling process work?

When a buyer purchases items from Craft Fetish, they receive an invoice with the totals owing including your bank information. Once they have made payment into your New Zealand bank account, you can send out the items.

If you elect to receive credit card payments, you need to setup a Paymate account and input your Paymate user information into your profile page. This will allow payments to be made directly to you.

How do I increase my seller credit balance?

In order to sell on Craft Fetish you need to have a positive credit balance (see charges). You can either pay via Bank Deposit or via Paymate, simply click "Your Balance" from your seller page and follow the instructions.





Once your bank payment has cleared or credit card payment is made, you can start selling!

OK, now I'm signed up, how do I sell a product?

To sell a product, enter the Seller Area through the links bar.

Click on "Add New Product"



Add in the relevant product information and click on "Save"
Done!

How does shipping work when selling via Craft Fetish?

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE: All products must be listed with postage within New Zealand already calculated into their price. This makes the process for all involved much simpler!

If you need assistance to calculate how much shipping will be, you can access this handy postage calculator and save onto your computer for easy reference.

How do I add additional photos to my listing?

Once you have entered your product as above, click on "Detailed Images". Add additional photos and click on Upload.

Can I accept credit card payments?

Sure! Just send us a message to let us know and we will talk you through setting up Paymate.

What do I do in the event that a purchaser does not complete the sale?

In the even that a purchaser does not complete the sale, we recommend that when you have waited at least 10 working days with no payment you relist your item.

Credit card payments are accepted through Paymate for some sellers.

Can my purchases be sent outside of New Zealand?

Not at this stage, sorry, shipping is only available within New Zealand.

Can I send purchases from one order to multiple addresses?

You will need to create a separate order for each address you would like products sent to.
